Dolomiticert is one of the few laboratories in the world accredited by the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation) and authorized to issue its mark for all climbing-related protections, in compliance with the association’s standards.

Dolomiticert is a laboratory recognized by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for conducting tests on bicycle helmets in accordance with 16 CFR Part 1203.

ACCREDITATIONS

Certottica SCRL is recognized as a Notified Body authorized to issue Certifications in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016, concerning Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Dolomiticert’s accreditations have been granted by:
•Accredia: The sole national accreditation body designated by the Italian Government, in accordance with European Regulation 765/2008, to certify the competence, independence, and impartiality of certification, inspection, and verification bodies, as well as testing and calibration laboratories;
•The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Labor, through ministerial decrees;
•The European Commission.

NOTE: For devices not covered by technical or harmonized standards, Dolomiticert has already prepared technical specifications or can develop them ad hoc according to the specific needs of the manufacturer.
