Mission
Dolomiticert – founded in 2007 and accredited in 2008 – is 100% Certottica controlled and specialises in certifying body protection devices, especially category 1, 2 and 3 PPE, with the exception of eye and face protectors, currently ranging from sport and work clothing to footwear, motorcycle wear, sport and work helmets, anti-fall devices and mountain accessories. A laboratory specifically designed to certify airway protection devices has also recently been added.

Expertise
Over the years Dolomiticert has acquired extensive know-how regarding an extremely wide range of products designed to protect the human body in all types of context, ranging from sport to workplace safety and motorbiking. The firm can now respond to the vast majority of testing and certification needs in the various sectors and ensures products comply with current international standards.

Accreditations
Dolomiticert is an EU notified body, accredited by ACCREDIA and authorised by the Department of Economic Development and the Department of Labour and Social Policies to issue EC type-examination certificates.
Dolomiticert’s laboratories are accredited by ACCREDIA and – one of a very select few globally – by UIAA (the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation) for all mountain sector protection for which the firm awards compliance marking in accordance with the association’s criteria.
